Companion Caregiver

Location: Toronto, GTA Part-Time / Casual / Flexible Hours

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and conversation
  • Accompany clients on walks, errands, appointments, and outings
  • Support social engagement and emotional well-being
  • Assist with light meal preparation and tidying
  • Provide reminders for medications and routines
  • Offer a calm, dependable presence in the home
  • Communicate professionally with families and management

Qualifications

  • CPR & First Aid Certification (required)
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
  • Valid references (professional and/or personal)
  • Previous caregiving, companion, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Transportation Support Companion

Location: Toronto, GTA Casual / Part-Time / Flexible Hours

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport seniors to appointments and activities
  • Assist clients in and out of vehicles when needed
  • Provide friendly companionship during outings
  • Help with groceries, errands, and mobility support
  • Maintain punctuality and professionalism
  • Ensure clients feel comfortable, respected, and safe

Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • Access to a reliable, insured vehicle
  • CPR & First Aid Certification (required)
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
  • Professional and/or personal references
  • Experience working with seniors is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable assisting clients with walkers or mobility aids

  • Light housekeeping and tidying
  • Laundry and linen changes
  • Dishwashing and kitchen clean-up
  • Meal preparation assistance
  • Organizing living spaces

Qualifications

  • Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
  • CPR & First Aid Certification preferred
  • Professional and/or personal references
  • Previous housekeeping, caregiving, hospitality, or support experience preferred
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and respectfully in clients' homes
